A gentle introduction into the world of relaxation using the breath, guided meditation and sound.
Inspired by my daughter’s request to attend Thursday evening relaxation classes, I’m holding two relaxation and sound meditations for children. As a mother to three sensitive, primary school aged kids, I have experienced the benefit of empowering kids to become aware of their super power; the impact of their breath and imagination to calm their body and manage emotions.
The aim of this class is to support children to calm their bodies and connect with their heart. They will also enjoy a deeply relaxing sound meditation. Through the use of guided meditation, music, sound bowls and chimes, children can effortlessly relax their body and mind. When children use their breath and imagination to calm themselves, they feel empowered.
TWO CLASSES AVAILABLE
Kids aged 6 – 9 ~ This class is a parent and child class. The children will have fun learning to belly breath and connect with their heart. This is followed by a relaxing 15 minute sound meditation. Limited to 8 parent/child bookings.
Kids aged 10 – 13 ~ This class is a child only session. The children will learn to belly breathe and explore helpful ways to calm their bodies and mind practicing a simple mindfulness technique. This is followed by a 20 minute sound meditation. Limited to 14 children.

MEET YOUR GUIDE
I draw upon my training as a certified meditation facilitator and devotion to my personal practice, to create a welcoming space for those whom wish to cultivate practices that support well-being. Through guided voice, breath, music, sound bowls and chimes, class participants are guided to calm their body and quieten their mind.
