A gentle introduction into the world of relaxation using the breath, guided meditation and sound.
As a mother to three sensitive, primary school aged kids, I have experienced the benefit of teaching kids to become aware of their super power; using their breath and imagination to calm the body and manage emotions. Calm Connected Kids supports children to calm their bodies and enjoy getting still. They will experience mini meditations, mindfulness activities and a relaxing sound meditation using music, sound bowls and chimes. When children discover their breath and imagination as a calming tool they feel empowered.
5 – 8 YRS CLASS
The children will experience a variety of fun mindfulness activities and belly breathing techniques. Class encourages children to pay attention to their senses through play, to learn and practice belly breathing and how to connect with their imagination to calm their body. Class concludes with a relaxing guided sound meditation.
Classes are limited to 10 participants.

I draw upon my training as a certified meditation facilitator and devotion to my personal practice, to create a welcoming space for those whom wish to cultivate practices that support well-being. Through guided voice, breath, music, sound bowls and chimes, class participants are guided to calm their body and quieten their mind.
